In Honor of my Wife!

Today, March 30th, 2008, my dearest wife celebrates her 26th birthday! In some ways she seems rather “unhappy” of the notion of another birthday. She has reached, I guess, that point where getting older is no longer “fun!” (She is only 26 for crying out loud!!!!!!!) But, I thought I would mention a few things that make her Katie Carman!
1. She still retains that “mysterious mystique” through her ability to remain the “quiet one” in public.
2. She is far more than a GREAT mother! She has borne me three great kids with never a complaint! She tirelessly raises the two God has allowed us to shepherd here on earth. (and it is a tiresome and toilsome jobs at times!)
3. On April 8th, she will have “stayed” with me for 8 years! That is an amazing accomplishment worthy of an award! (Trust me, you have NO idea of the crap she has lived with to this point! And who knows what is next!)
4. After 26 years, her beauty has not faded one bit, nay, rather, it has increased by leaps and bounds. She illusively retains my heart and affection, and she simply shines more brighter than ever before!
5. Her heart and passion for God makes her brighter than the sun, and her love for Him shines through her children!
6. If I had a “gate” (proverbs 31), I would sit in it and proclaim her greatness!
