What my wife said today…..
This morning, my dear wife had the daunting task of making 100 little sandwiches for my cousins wedding reception at 2 pm. She did all her shopping last night, but, she needed a little help putting them together this morning. So, Hailey and Raygan helped her as I watched TV!
Just kidding!
The kids played together as [...]

Loaded!
The other day, I was in a conversation when a name of a certain wealthy man was mentioned! He was referred to as “Loaded.” And I quote, “I mean, he is REALLY loaded!”
So that got me to thinking, what is it to be “loaded?” I know most people will automatically think of “lots of money!” [...]

Joseph the Dreamer!
Normally when you here this term, well, if you come from a “churchianity” background, you think of Joseph, the son of Jacob. The one who was favored above his brothers. The first son of Rachel, the wife most favored by Jacob! Joseph, the one with his coat of many colors. The young man who changed [...]

Can it be…..
is she really three?
Yes! It has already been three years since we were blessed to welcome Raygan Elizabeth Carman into our home. Born in the evening hours of the day, this cute little bundle has been a HUGE blessing from her first moment. She is quiet and shy, but has a wonderful excitement about life [...]

Continuation!
Last night I asked a question, and my great friend Mike Cady sent over this response to my question “Did Jesus affirm the tithe?”

Matthew 23:23 (Whole Chapter)
“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your [...]

Question?
Today I was “in the building” as one of my friends pointed out when he saw me. While there, we heard a message on Giving. Overall, good message with some great points! There was one question I had and was looking for your help.
The pastor mentioned that “tithing”, which is not unusual for a message [...]

Wouldn’t this be cool?
To walk into a service on a Sunday morning, pick up a bulletin and read the following:
(Last weeks attendance by members and “attendees”: 926!
Those who have been trained in the ministry and sent out from our midst to do the work of Jesus, making new disciples and training them in the ways of our Lord: [...]

Sub-consience Deception!
Now this is something that “hit” me just a day or so ago. Maybe I am behind on this, but, lately, I have found myself behind on a-lot of things dues to some incorrect data stored in my database!
Over this past few days, I have been blessed to have hooked up with several folks for [...]

Chinese fortunes!
These are my most recent Chinese fortunes:
1. Never chase a dog into a dead end alley! (hmm, why not?)
2. A man’s best possession is a sympathetic wife. (most places, that kinda talk about a woman will get you slapped)
3. Watch your relations with other people, be reserved. (great way to make friends, right?)
4. God has [...]
